Welcome to AIM North London

In August 2023 AIM North London became the most improved school in London, and the most improved school in Enfield in regards to our GCSE outcomes.

Both our GCSE and A Level results show an outstanding improvement since the school opened in 2019. We are very proud to say that a third of all our Sixth Form students went on to study at Russell Group universities, and that students are now making more progress than they would in an average school nationally.

In December 2023 we had our first Ofsted inspection. The full report can be viewed here

We were judged ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted with inspectors commenting on the quality of education offered here. Inspectors were highly complimentary about all aspects of our school, particularly our ‘calm and purposeful environment’, our ‘focus on learning’ and the behaviour of our students.

Importantly, inspectors found that we are very ambitious for our students’ futures.  We have high expectations of our students and see it as our role to ensure they reach their full potential.  I look forward to getting to know your child and finding out how we can help them achieve their goals.

Our ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement is not the summit of our achievements, and we are continuing to build on the excellent progress we have made in recent years.  Your child will benefit from a number of new initiatives that will see further improvements across the curriculum, in our enrichment programme, and in the way we care for your child’s wellbeing.

We believe that we are building something special at AIM North London; we want your child to have a magical experience of secondary school, so please join us to see how they can become a Leader for Tomorrow at AIM North London.

We are delighted you have been offered a place in our school to be part of our journey together. We want to invite you to one of our upcoming events:

  • Tuesday 12th March 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Welcome event (in school). We would be delighted to invite you in to our school to meet Paddy McGrath and myself, as well as Joe Lawlor the Deputy Principal and the rest of the Senior Leadership Team

We understand that this can be a daunting and exciting time for many families, so we would love to meet you on Tuesday 12th March to answer any questions you may have.

If these dates aren't convenient and you would like to see the school, please click here  to email us and we will contact you to arrange a visit at another time.

Finally, please watch our welcome video below.

Thank you,

Clare Darley
